How much does it cost to own & run an E-trials bike?

Second hand bikes range from under £1000

New bikes are available from £2500 to just over £10,000

Crash helmet and gloves another £60 upwards depending on manufacturer

Boots second hand are always available for £20 upwards

New start around £100

Membership £15 to £25

Per event £15 to £25

Repairs and maintenance. This varies but E-motorcycles require considerably less overall maintenance than a petrol equivalent and if the machine cleaned properly after you ride its not oily or smelly and messy

Brakes and tyres etc will last a year

You will need to oil the chain, adjust the chain or belt drive and brake levers from time to time

Don’t forget to charge the battery before every event.

Oh and they are easier to clean than a petrol bike, which is great news.
